  • Sensitive Data. Drumgreenagh may collect sensitive data through the course of placing an order. There is an opportunity for customers to leave personal messages which may cover medical information. The customer may also communicate private and sensitive information in relation to the recipient of the gift i.e they just had a baby etc- all of this information is only for communication purposes only and is never stored, shared or duplicated beyond the realms for which it was captured.  Please review Section 8 for our Data Retention periods. 

CREATING AN ONLINE ACCOUNT 


If you choose to create an account with Drumgreenagh then you are responsible for the accuracy of the information that is stored. This account will only be active when you use it and if you would like this account to be deactivated at any stage please email us hello@drumgreenagh.com to advise of this request. 


Drumgreenagh Gift Card Terms & Conditions


Drumgreenagh Gift Cards are available for purchase online. Our Gift Cards can be redeemed online. The Drumgreenagh Gift Card is not a credit card, charge card, or cheque guarantee card. Drumgreenagh Gift Cards issued after December 2nd 2019, will have an expiry date of 5 years. You must be aged over 18 to purchase and use our Drumgreenagh Gift Card. Drumgreenagh is not responsible or liable for lost or stolen Drumgreenagh Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your statutory rights. The Drumgreenagh Gift Card is non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.


Drumgreenagh reserves the right to decline any Drumgreenagh Gift Card which has not been validly activated according to our procedures or has been identified as fraudulent. If the total cost of your purchase exceeds the balance on your Gift Card, you may pay the balance with a valid means of payment accepted by Drumgreenagh. Any residual balance on your Drumgreenagh Gift Card following the purchase of goods will remain on the gift card while the Drumgreenagh Gift Card is valid. Any refunds on purchases that were made using an Drumgreenagh Gift Card will be applied back onto a

Drumgreenagh Gift Card. Any refunds on purchases that were made using split payment of Gift Card and credit card/ cash will be refunded back the way in which the payment was received. You can access your Gift Card balance at any time by emailing hello@drumgreenagh.com. Drumgreenagh reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as are applicable to Drumgreenagh Gift Cards.

We have put in place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorisation. They will only process your personal data on our instructions, and they must keep it confidential. 

 

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach if we are legally required to.

During the performance of our contract some personal data may be transferred through our operating systems. This information can be both in telephone and text formats and also verbally. We treat this information with the utmost importance and given the sensitivity and possible legal consequences which could be attached to the retention of this material we operate a specific retention period for this area. We will store this information for two calendar years after the service we offer has been completed and upon which time it will then be deleted. Please note that gift vouchers purchased from Drumgreenagh will be stored for five years. 


For tax purposes the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for seven years after they stop being customers.

  

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
